This collection covers most of the storage a home actually needs: a tall lidded cylinder for laundry, an open rope-handled basket for a nursery, and everything from a single fixed-size floor basket to a nesting set of three lidded sizes. Every piece is hand-coiled from kansgrass by women artisans, mostly working out of Bogura, Bangladesh, so the weave has the same raised, textured surface as our wall decor and tray collections.
Lidded or Open, Which Do You Need?
House Queen Basket, Mood Basket and Soulkeep Basket all come with a lid, which suits laundry, linens, or anything you'd rather keep out of sight; Mood Basket and Soulkeep Basket also come in more than one size, so a bedroom, home office or living room can all use the same design at different scales. Brave, Cross Weave, Mother Love Basket and Soulmate Basket are open-top, better suited to toys, books or throws you want to grab quickly without lifting a lid.
Colour and Pattern
Most of the range uses a graphic two-tone pattern (navy blocks, black-and-white chevron, or a plain undyed natural weave), so it's easy to match to an existing room. Soul Wave Basket is the exception: its multicolour coils are woven from recycled cotton sari cloth rather than dyed kansgrass, so it reads as more of a statement piece than the rest of the range.
Caring for Your Storage Basket
Dry-cloth wipe only, kept away from damp bathrooms, laundry-room splashes, or direct sun for long periods. Soul Wave Basket needs extra care: since its pattern comes from fabric rather than fixed dye, a damp cloth can transfer colour, so only a dry cloth should ever touch it.
